Call on

Call on God.  Call on Him by words, in your mind and in your heart and then listen; you can hear Him answering you through your soul's mouth.

When you invoke Him, be conscious of who you're calling on.  Remember in whose presence you are.

The least would be to call on God the way you would call on a conscious-glorious person who sees, hears and speaks.  Many people invoke God as if they're calling on a dead person.  They talk to Him as if He is an imaginary being or as if He is so far away.  Yet the Living- Present God is closer to you than your own self.  He is your existence, indeed...

Call on God the way you're expecting His answer; and He answers His caller even before being called on.  Yet He answers in His own way and not necessarily the way you expect Him to.  He answers through signs and by changes, incidents, feelings, thoughts, by giving and taking...

When calling upon the Lord, know that He is not separate from you; therefore meditate deeply on this inherent union and connection for it is significant...

Call on God with laughter and tear, while sleeping or awake, in hardship and relief, and even with melody and song...

Let Him be the whisper of your words and the background of your look...

Call on God with joy and rapture, with exaltation and enthusiasm for He likes joy and gaiety.

Call on Him while you're engaged in affairs and activities, when involved in problems and difficulties or when under pressure...

Invoke Him with faith and assurance and trust everything to Him.  Know that He shall certainly answer you, but in His own way and with His boundless intellect and power...

However, if you cannot discern, see or hear His answer, don't deny it.  Many have seen and see, have heard and hear His answers.  Thus don't rush to hasty judgment.

There are now countless sounds and being which cannot be, apparently, heard or seen, yet it is not a proof to their non-existence.

Call on the Lord the way a child calls on his/her parent or a lover his/her dear beloved or a servant his/her creator and lord.

Call on God lovingly and passionately with hope and expectation.

Call on God within your self and in others' beings, in nature, in heaven and earth.  Call on Him within visible and invisible beings and yearn after Him so He reveals Himself in everything and everyone the way He knows.         

Call on God the way you would call on your soul.  Call on Him with your every inhaling and exhaling breath; for every breath is, indeed, a very name of the Lord...
