The only Soul-Magnet

Q:  I am a student of one of the most famous spiritual masters of the word...But now I do not know what to do.  I am hesitating.  I do not know whether I should remain his student or follow you?

A:  It depends on you.  Go where you soul and heart are drawn to.  Look at your soul and see which soul-magnet is attracting it to itself - to its teachings.  Your way of guidance and salvation would be that one.  The truth is clear and explicit.  Whenever you could see someone or a way more clearly in your heart, that way would be your transcending path to reach the truth.  But if meeting someone or a spiritual trend makes you feel gloomy and gruesome, that way would certainly bring about deviation and ruin for you.

If you have a feeling of openness, affection, dazzlement, fascination and inclination towards a person in your soul and heart, accept him as your only teacher and divine channel.  Remain faithful and confident, completely obedient and submitted to him -submitted to that divine flow that streams from him.  Choose him as your one and only divine representative, vow obedience to him and do not look at any one but him, do not follow any one but him, do not tend towards any one but him, do not walk in any other way but his...

This integrity of movement is the essential principle.  The Lord Most-High has a representative and deputy among each nation.  He has specific and determined flow among each group and it streams from a determined channel.  There is only one who is the universal deputy and representative of the Lord for the entire humanity, and he is the Spirit of God.  Only holy souls and fascinated spirits are able to recognize the Divine Spirit...You have also to find your divine representative and teacher.  But does the evident need to be found?

The person or the flow that the Lord Most High has specially considered for you is evident and at hand for you and that is a firm and clear sign.  You could discover and choose it from stimulation and movements of you soul and heart.  However, do not forget that it is only through this exclusive divine flow that you can get into the path of divine guidance - through that very teacher who has been appointed and come to teach and guide you.  It is possible that you deviate or walk to your ruin if you follow other divine teachers and channels that have not been considered for you.

Q:  If we recognize two persons as divine teachers and both be two genuine divine teachers, whom should we follow then?

A:  [Follow] the one who is closer [to you], for the Lord is close and is not far.  [Follow] the one who has risen from the same nation you belong to, for He says, "We have chosen a guide and savior from among yourselves."  [Follow] the one who lives in the same region of the world that you are living, for each region of the world has its own characteristics and the Flow of Divine Guidance adopts an appropriate aspect in each region.

...

[Follow] the one whose words and teachings are closer and more similar to Koran and the Holy Scriptures, for these books are suggestions of the Spirit of God and the connection of such a person is deeper and more complete with the Divine Spirit and the Flow of Divine Guidance.

Q:  But what if we have already made a vow of obedience to someone who has not these characteristics; can we make a new vow with another person?

A:  "Do not be from those who break their vows;" for the Lord considers them as traitors and disloyal people.

Q:  But what if it will not be possible any more to advance and progress in that path?

A:  "Do not be from those who break their vows." You can free yourself from your commitment only if that person would permit and agree.

Q:  Despite the presence of a divine teacher in our own region, can we still be the student of another teacher in another region of the world?

A:  ...This would be like using the light in your neighbor's house to see instead of using the lit up lamp in your own house.  This would be an irrational and stupid thing to do. But even if you succeed in doing so, you could only see what belongs to your neighbor and you still could not see inside of your own house.  Therefore, you will continue your way in blindness and ignorance about your own life and destiny while knowing about your neighbor's destiny and life.

Q:  Could please give further explanation?

A:  To follow another teacher while the guide is available to you is like having a spring close to your house but you go to quench your thirst from a spring behind mountains.  When you [go so far away to] quench your thirst, you are just turning around your self and getting caught in a vicious circle.  Even though you reach that far away spring and drink to your capacity you still have to go back to your home before night fall.  You get on your way and arrive at home; yet as soon as you want to rest you realize this long distance has made your thirsty again.  This ridiculous and absurd running about will continue through your life.
