Awakening is Salvation
Q: You say, "Wake up; that is enough for your salvation." If it is as you say, what would be then the use of so many teachings and Holy Scriptures and the reason so many prophets and saints had come?
A: They have all come to wake people up.
Q: Would this teaching be enough for our happiness and bliss?
A: Yes, if only these teachings and precepts do not work as a sedative and do not add to your sleep.
Q: Nonetheless, man has to learn and to purify and fight his ego. To know God, man needs to know himself. How then awakening would be enough for man?
A: Do not forget that all these serve to wake people up and to help him perceive the living presence of the truth and to vanish in it. Man is potentially an exalted being. Ego, veil, immaturity and sin come from his delusion; and of course, when man sleeps he falls into delusion. If only he awakens, there would be no evil ego to fight with, no sin to resist to and no immaturity to mature... You are right, everything you said are necessary, yet their goal is awakening.
Q: Let's suppose man wakes up and understands wickedness and evil are but delusions he still remains ignorant for he has not acquired any science.
A: The principal source of science, awareness, love, affection, light and enlightening is in your spirit. If you wake up, the flow of truth will automatically streams out and you shall not need to pile and store up any science from outside.
Q: What about ones deed? The Lord determines our destiny according to our deeds. Even if we would wake up and become a learned person, we still lack good deeds in our credit.
A: Do not confuse priorities. The goal is neither science nor deed, neither self-realization nor awakening, neither Hell nor Paradise. The only true goal is Him and only Him. Science, deed, prayer, self-knowledge are all means of attaining to the one truth. When you are in union with the truth you do not need to store any good deed for you are above the Paradise and Hell.
