The Rescue Ship

Man has been abandoned with a broken boat in a rough sea in this world.  Sooner or later, this unskilled boatman shall be drowned and shall perish at last.

He has been left in a sea where sharks, rocky masses and salty-deadly waters...

jeopardize his life.  Even if he escapes one danger, he succumbs to the next one. As he gradually looses his strength, he moves towards his end.  He sways with every wave and is involuntarily toyed around by sea tides.

He is hungry, thirsty, agonizing and wandering out at sea...

But when he looks attentively around, he sees a very big ship nearby.  A string is hanging out from the deck into the water.  Though the ship is sailing full speed ahead, yet it passes slowly by him.

Now he faces two choices; either to grasp at "the divine string" and enter the rescue ship or to ignore this opportunity because of different presumptions...

Unfortunately, he has not much time left to make up his mind for the ship is about to pass him by.  This is the only ship sailing to the shore, to the principal residence where a happy and calm life awaits him.  Neither wind and storms, nor tides can cause any damage to the body of this colossal vessel.  Therefore, in deep waters, amidst this deadly storm, this very ship is the only means of rescue.  Any hesitation may ruin one's chance of rescue and the opportunity of returning to the felicitous-serene shore.  To be rescued, one has to grasp tightly the string and very tightly indeed, and not to let it go at any price, for "this string is the only means of reaching life."

However many of these people, caught in the middle of the storm, choose the second option and remain ignorant of the ship which is passing them by.  They consider the deadly storm as a game.  They become conscious of the threat and look for the ship only when they realize that this storm and these roaring rollers destroy and do not play.  But unfortunately it would be too late, for the ship is by now gone too far.  The fate of these people is death and drowning...

Pay attention to your life.  This ship shall cross everyone's stormy life.  This vessel is the divine teachings, commandments and laws.  The string is the guiding and awakening hand.  The captain is the Spirit of the Lord Most High.

The Kind Creator, He whose beauty makes the soul fly, He who is the source of serenity, pleasure and joy is waiting for you at the shore; there, His house is ready to welcome each and every one of you.  His house is salvation and happiness, His Presence freedom and deliverance...

Be vigilant, for the rescue ship is also passing by you.  Look around you, it is near you.  If you delay to go on board, it will sail away in full speed and will be beyond reach.  It may already passed you by and be impossible to be reached.  Yet, the way to the Lord shall always remain open for those who love Him and long for Him...
