The Right and the False Trends

Two trends of intellect and energy encompass the world.  One is the trend of creative intellect and the other is the destructive trend.  The first one's nature is constructive, flourishing, growing, enlightening, healing, restorative, guiding, revealing, joyful, soothing and life-giving; it is considered, in general, as a good and exalting trend.  This is the very Flow of Divine Guidance or the Spirit of God that prophets and godly men have times and again pointed out to it and have been in contact with it all their lifetime. 

All divine religions and spiritual or esoteric schools have referred to and emphasized it in various ways.

The Lord Most High describes it clearly in the Holy Scriptures and presents it as the base and foundation of a good and transcendental life and a right and exalting move.  These references are especially most significant in the Holy Koran.  Holy Scriptures refer to the Flow of Divine Guidance as light, the Spirit, the Holy Spirit of God, the Flow of Divine Word, the Flow of truth, sound and light...

The other trend is negative, destructive, corruptive, deadly, dark, tenebrous, misguiding, unhealthy, afflicting and tormenting.  This is the very evil trend known as Satan.

These tow trends manifest themselves under various forms in all dimensions of this world.  Light and darkness, positive and negative, yin and yang, attractive and repulsive are some expressions of them.  They are realized in tow levels, material and energetic, on earth and in human body.  In the latter, arteries and veins are considered as symbols of these tow trends.

The alternation of light and darkness can be compared with two drifts of going away from the Lord and returning to Him.  The first is the path of separation while the other is the way to closeness and going back to His light.

One is pouring into the sea and the other goes to the desert to become a sludgy marsh. 

With the Flow of Divine Guidance, the presence of the Lord and divine relation are in a constant increase; while they go decreasing with the satanic-tenebrous-misguiding trend to the point of oblivion and deadly sleep.

It goes without saying that the Divine Presence and the love for the Lord are the sources of all goodness, beauties, successes, and every noble deed, thought and value.  On the contrary, ignoring and forgetting the Living Truth are causes of all pains, diseases, weaknesses, failures and deviations...  

The Flow of Divine Guidance originates from the creative and radiant dimension of the Lord - the Spirit of God, while the evil and satanic trend arises from destructive dimension of the Lord - Satan.  These two trends are continuously flowing into human bodies and the world's structures and they are each other's complementary.  However, man's choice to follow the one or the other is what matters most.  Which path does he/she choose?  To which trend are his/her self-awareness and attention turned to?  To which trend is he/she submitted to?  Submission and acceptance are key factors to each trend; for they determine the source that man is fed from.  Whichever trend man serves, its effects manifest themselves in his/her lives and beings. 

Everyone is inevitably submitted to the one or the other.  Even pagans, Satan, devils as well as evil-doers and sinners are all submitted to the Lord.  The difference is the choice that one makes.

The Holy Books describe Paradise as the Flow of Divine Guidance; the path that takes man closer and makes him/her return to the Lord.  This Paradise is within man's being and its outward manifestation is but a reflection of that inner atmosphere.  On the other hand, the Hell and torments are expressions referring to man's obedience from the satanic movement and his/her submission to the trend of evil and darkness; they describe internal attitudes and have external materializations as well.  The Paradise and the Hell described in the Holy Scriptures have, indeed, many different quantitative and qualitative levels beginning from this very earthly life and this world...          

Evil egotism and satanic self are symbols of trend of darkness and delusion in man's being and they have various manifestations like selfishness, self-veneration and conceit.  This egotism in man is based upon his/her ignorance of the Lord, of His Presence and of His commandments and laws. 

The essence of the Flow of Divine Guidance is in love for the Lord and in perception of His Presence.  Living in accordance with divine guidance brings about divine and sublime manifestations in man's life.  However living according to one's egotism means to nurture oneself from satanic-poisonous-deadly trend that provides favorable ground for corruption and diseases and their spread in every dimension of one's life...

According to Holy Scriptures, the Spirit of God is at the summit of the Flow of Divine Guidance, while Satan is at the head of the opposite trend.

Every human being has the Divine Spirit within him/herself.  Outside man's being, the Spirit of God or the Flow of Divine Guidance manifests Itself in various shapes and forms.  This rule applies to every thing in this world.  The trend of light and guidance as well as the trend of ignorance and darkness manifest themselves in all visible and mental, physical and chemical, esoteric and spiritual dimensions and in different external and internal forms.  Prophets, godly men, masters and leaders of humanity are indeed human manifestations of the Divine Spirit on earth...

In scriptural traditions, Holy Scriptures are revelations of the Flow of Divine Guidance.  In other words, "the Word of God" and the Divine Call - which come together with light - are the very Flow of Providential Guidance.  This guiding trend reveals also itself through principles and laws.  Moses - peace be upon him - refers to the dynamic and canonic personification of the Spirit of God as the Ten Commandments...

Buddha mentions it as the four truths and the eight principles.  Zoroaster-  peace be upon him - points to it as the three precepts; and the prophet of Islam- God's peace and blessings be upon him - brings it up as the five postulates and the ten secondary statements...

Every single sign happening in internal or external world is in fact a message from the Spirit of the Lord to human beings...  Inherent and canonic as well as direct guidance through divine apostles and elite - human personifications of the Spirit of God - are expressions of three internal, external and dynamic basis of the Flow of Divine Guidance.  It is then essential for man to be fed from and obedient to them for returning to the unbounded truth and regaining the Lord's proximity. 

Increase your contact with the trend of truth and the Divine Spirit; deepen and bring closer your relation with the Flow of Divine Guidance for this will bring about the manifestation of truth and the revelation of the Lord within your being.  Obey the Spirit of God from within and His personification from without and live according to His instructions that are the very divine precepts and commandments.  This is the Paradise and living in the Heavenly Kingdom. 

To live lovingly in presence of the Divinity is to lead a transcendental existence.  To live in accordance with the Living Truth and in Him is the art of an elevated life...

Under all circumstances, pay attention to and ask yourself about "Which trend are you following?" "On what basis are you living?" "According to what principles are you proceeding?" "What sources are you fed from?" "Are you living according to the Lord's presence and love or according to the evil and dark I-ness?" "Are you submitted to and are at the service of your own self or you're obeying and serving the Peerless Lord of the

Heavens and the earth?"
