The Elect
Who is drawn into the Flow of Divine Guidance and is being guided by it? Who is going to enter the Divine Kingdom? What are the characteristics of those who have been guided and are traveling on the path of the truth?
Jesus said, "You cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven unless you become like a child." What are special features of children that great people have stressed them as requirements of admission into the divine realm?
Children - guided people - are "simple and candid." If you tell them, "This is the way," they simply follow it; and if you tell them, "This is wrong or that is right," they accept your words. And the Lord is "the Patron of candid people." To be candid does not mean to be naive, but to act according to one's heart without being tricky or sly.
Children - guided people - easily believe in God and in the unseen world. That is why many people take advantage of this fact and frighten them from fictitious-false beings...
Children - guided people - are flexible and receptive. They neither have prejudice nor many deductions in their minds; otherwise they are easily capable of giving them up. No matter how you shape them, they take that shape. Unlike a stone, they are very supple and soft; they're even softer and than water...
Children - guided people - love and show their affection easily and unconditionally. Like the Lord who is kind and merciful, they are also loving and generous. They love without expecting to be rewarded...
Children - guided people- are more active than talkative. They seldom do many things yet utter no word about it...
There is no trace of arrogance, greed, avidity, self-regard, egotism, ruse, hypocrisy and impurity...in the nature of guided people...
Children - guided people - are rather intuitive than logical beings. When it comes to divine and inner matters, they usually act according to their heart and listen to it rather than listening to so called logical thoughts...
There is a very insignificant amount of selfishness and conceit in children- a guided people. They do not consider themselves as grown ups or as an important persons. They know and admit their ignorance, powerlessness and dependence...
Children - guided people - are sensitive. They easily and sincerely cry when they face a tragic accident; yet in front of a funny scene, they and laugh from the bottom of their heart and not merely with their lips...
Children - guided people - do not know many things; they have read nothing and there are more meanings and less word in their minds... They are very curious about causes of everything and look for their truth - they are seekers of truth. They are attentive to the significance and the essence of existence and life rather than to their appearance and terminologies...
Children - guided people - do not depend much on their knowledge for they are not considerable indeed. Therefore, they readily accept the truth and easily listen...
Their attachment to and dependence on the very few things they possess is very insignificant and that is why they can easily fly and change promptly a situation and enter a new one. They mainly depend on their parents and on those who see to their needs... And blessed is he who needs only his creator and depends uniquely on him...
Since they do not know much and their deductions are very insignificant, they are not pessimist and skeptic about what they learn and show no resistance to them. On the contrary, they are very optimistic and trustful...
Children - guided people - are ignorant of ruse, deceit and evil games. The use of such words as mine, yours or I and you is quite improbable...
Children - guided people - do not insist on what they know but they are always ready to learn. They like very much to ask and to know. They are sincere and truthful; therefore it is really hard for them to be dishonest and to lie...
Children - guided people - are prone to discover and find out about divine mysteries. They turn their eyes upon the sky. A child is whatever he/she is and does not try to appear more or less than whatever he/she is. He/she does not pretend to be someone else...
A child loves his/her parent whether they punish or reward him/her...
Children - guided people - live mostly now and here. They do not have much to do with past or future...
Children - guided people - tend to be intuitive and are good listeners. They are always eager to understand...
Children - guided people - care most about their feelings and moods rather than caring about ideas and analysis. Therefore, without knowing it, they are frequently in a divine mood. Only later when they grow up they become aware of that mood...
Children - guided people - are very afraid to be separated from their parents and to lose them. They fear to upset their parent because of a mistake they have committed. However, this fear shall be reduced with years... Blessed is he who fears only the Lord...
Children - guided people - do not set any limit to their friendship. They may also befriend their enemy. Nevertheless, love is higher and stronger than any other power...
Children - guided people - may love many people like their uncles, aunts and playmates but their parents are the center of their affection and they are submitted and devoted to them. Under all circumstances, they remain loyal to and love their parents...And blessed is he who has such faith and love toward his lord - the Spirit of God.
A child - a guide person - is a wholehearted being and acts with integrity. When he/she wants something, he/she desires it wholeheartedly. When he/she cries or laughs, he/she cries or laughs with every bit of his/her being...
Children - guided people - fall easily in love and lose their hearts to their beloved ones. How easily and how candidly they are capable of loving... If you see a child committing a sin, consider it as an act of unawareness and ignorance. But if you advise him/her well, he/she shall not commit it again...
Children - guided people - never forget their parents and they always trust and rely on them, either in comfort or in hardship. They ask their parents for whatever they want; they set their hope on them and count on their support while doing something...And blessed is he who acts this way toward his creator.
Children - guided people - float in God's mysteries. They are rather sensitive than talkative. They are introverted and not extroverted. Their heart is at the center of their attention for it is the Lord's mouth...
Children - guided people - are kind and compassionate. They may even cry for animals. They can also be moved by fictitious stories as well...
Children - guided people - resemble more to prophets and godly men and likewise prophets bear much resemblance to them as well...
Affection and friendship are the main motives to children's acts, thoughts and even quarrels...
Children - guided people - are self-seeking, self-regarding and self-exalting beings. However, they do not exalt Satan, but they seek, see and glorify their own soul...
Children - guided people - are spontaneous and self-motivated. Their acts, thoughts and words gush from inside and out of their heart; and that is the reason why they are so lovely, sweet and winsome. Affection guides their acts and thoughts. They do not plan or plot for the sake of their own profits...
Children - guided people - are submissive and receptive. They are soft and flexible. They have observant eyes and perceiving ears. They are loyal friends. They are humble and gentle...
As mentioned in previous chapters, divine guidance and closeness to God occur in tow stages and the third one is not a stage anymore but it is the fact of union itself. Those who have completed the first stage and are about to enter the Divine Kingdom and are considered as intimate and trustworthy bear the signs of a child. In the second stage, they bear the signs of close ones. Even though children are also among close ones but each situation has its own capacity...

Q: When you speak of a child, what age do you mean?
A: A child may be 80 or two years old. Many of today's children are adults, indeed; and this is due to wrong and pernicious education and teaching. Childhood is an inherent quality that has nothing to do with one's age. Many great people were indeed children; otherwise they would not find their way into the Kingdom of Heaven. Adult persons or those who consider themselves as an adult are forbidden to enter the heavens. All guided people have a common characteristic - to be like a child; and all children have also a common particularity and that is being submissive and receptive.
