Light and Love shall come
When a person utters God's name, he can come into the divine presence. The forms of this presence can also change according to conditions and needs of that person; in other words, the divine presence conforms to the needs and the conditions of that person.
A person who calls upon the Lord can address his prayers to or express his trust in Him through such an established communication. He can remember his being a servant of the Lord and serve Him. He can become more aware of his submission. He can hold communion with his creator and converse with Him. He can experience his joy or pain with the Lord by invoking His name; or he can beg His pardon, confess, repent, thank or praise Him.
Divine names are similar to water and you can experience them under various forms - sometimes like snow, rain, or ice, and another times like a stream of water or still like a dew drop or vapor. According to your conditions, you can benefit from any form of the Divine Presence.
If you come into the Divine Presence by invoking God's name, you can also experience other principles of the Divine guidance. One who is in the presence of God shall automatically benefit from an elevated virtues and behavior. He is not arrogant for the majesty and the greatness of the Divine Presence do not tolerate him such attitude. He becomes spontaneously humble and this humility is by itself an incentive of many good and noble deeds and thoughts.
One who is in God's presence can no more be rooted in hatred and darkness and thus many ugliness and deviations shall automatically leave the person and light and love shall come. This light and love are the sources to many noble behaviors.
A person who is experiencing the Divine Presence can also experience all dimensions of God-centeredness and overcome his self-centeredness and egotism in any level.
With the Lord's name, one is able to experience the yearning for the Lord, to see His image in everything, to worship Him, to reflect Him and to love Him - (God-yearning, God-observing, God-worshipping, God-reflecting and God-loving).
Can't you see that negligence and forgetfulness, unconsciousness and ignorance are the root of human pains and deviations? The divine names impel attention and remembrance; they forbid one's mind to fall into unawareness and heedlessness. When one's mind is awakened to a certain degree, it can use its awareness in very moment and in various ways.
Therefore, call always upon God. Call Him in every situation, either in trouble or in peace, whether in prosperity or when you do not possess what you desire. Call Him at any time and under any circumstance.
If you have a dormant consciousness, call upon Him to become awakened; if you are awakened, call upon Him to fly and if you are flying, call upon Him to be united with Him.
Mix your thoughts, acts, words and gestures with the Divine Presence and associate them with the Lord's name. This has been the way great souls and the Lord's elite have lived their life.
