The Veils of Light

I-ness is equal to Satan and Satan to darkness, and darkness to deviation and sin, and deviation and sin to pain and trouble...

What is in fact this I-ness, this Satan and this root of every human pain and trouble?  What forms can they take and how do they show themselves?

I-ness feeds itself from satanic spirit and carries it and is not separated from it.  Satan does not have an external existence only; or even as many hasty minds may believe, he is not an imaginary and legendary being.  Not only has he an external reality but it has somehow materialized himself in every human being and stands between man and God, freedom and happiness.  Satan circulates like dirty-infectious blood into veins of existence...

To ignore or deny this great enemy is to lose one's prudence and immunity facing him and to be at the mercy of this destructive power.

This great enemy and this pain causing power is one's I-ness where evil spirit or destructive-dark awareness circulates in it...

Whatever smells ''I''  is satanic and will end in pain and loss.  Whenever ''I'' is the center of an act, an idea or a situation, that act, idea or situation becomes destructive and evil and will end in pain and trouble.

Words like: mine, for me, my feeling, my opinion, my profit and loss, my interests, my desire, my wish, my liking, my hate, my sister, my brother, my life and so forth are various forms to express egotism.  Wherever we face these expressions we can identify satanic I-ness.  These are a set of indications to know evil ego under different circumstances.  Whatever smell I-ness is satanic and sinful...

Outward forms of satanic ego and I-ness can manifest themselves under various appearances.  Although they are of the same nature and meaning, but they are as follow: selfishness, self-conceit, self-aggrandizement, self-satisfaction, self-veneration, self-attention, self-complacency, self-delusion, self-importance, self-idealization and self-centeredness.

These are different images and manifestation of Satan - I-ness.  These are the ways of closeness to Satan and to his worship.  These veils of darkness are obstacles to realization of serenity and unbounded divine joy; they prevent the truth to manifests itself...

Man's goal is not to reach God or to become a good and elevated person for he is not separated from Him.  Man is good and elevate by nature.  The main point is not to create and intensify divine characteristics and the Lord's light in man but the revelation of these characteristics and light in him...

Everything, the whole truth and the entire divine mysteries lie within human being.  The divine nature of man holds an unbounded source of power, intellect and life.  Therefore, there is no need to create or intensify a new thing but to reveal this truth.  Man's goal is not ''to get connected'', but to get conscious of ''his connection''; he has to come out of ignorance and forgetfulness, out of sleep and dream and to be awakened and conscious.  A tree does not need anything new for its growth and evolution, it has only to reveal whatever it has inside and let them flourish...

Man thinks mainly about himself and, precisely, because of this self-ward thinking he has forgotten about his true nature.  When he sees himself, his own image prevents him from seeing divine mysteries.  When listens to himself, he fails to receive divine messages.  That is how he finds himself ''lost'' , forlorn, weak and ailing...

There is only one difficulty and the resting problems and troubles emerge from this essential difficulty.  This big and radical problem is ''I-ness''.  I-ness means self-conceit, selfishness, self-veneration, self-satisfaction, self-complacency, self-importance, self-delusion, self-centeredness, self-pity...

The Lord resides in human spirit.  Egotism and I-ness are the main causes why the Lord has remained hidden and veiled in human being.

Manifestation of love, joy and serenity does not depend on generating or increasing love for love is already within mans being but it is in a stagnant and hidden state.  What makes it conceal itself is selfishness and self-conceit...I-ness and egotism are like veils of darkness enwrapping the sun and screening its radiance, but we think that the sun is not so shiny.  If these veils be torn apart, the great divine sun shall rise in our being...

I-ness is the distance between God and man.  If it be eliminated, man shall reach God and connect to Him.  These Is are like walls standing between the Lord and man, we have to tear down these walls and let ''the sole beloved'' to show up his face.

In the course of human history, one hundred and twenty four thousand messengers, masters, and great sages came to annihilate and eliminate this very egotism -

idolatry and devil worshipping.  Once I-ness is eliminated, bliss, salvation and deliverance shall be realized...

Satan has an agent in every human being.  Dark I-ness represents devil within man and it can manifest itself like desires, feelings and negative thoughts.  Where I-ness shows up, Satan is there, too; and where truth and righteousness exist, the Lord is actively present and the signs of this elevated presence reveal themselves...

The teachings of prophets and holy men have emphasized the elimination of self-conceit and self-veneration.  Divine trials are, exclusively, in this direction for with elimination of I-ness, the Lord manifests Himself and the true Paradise shall be revealed...

Every pain, trouble, sin, suffering, disease and constraint rises from I-ness.

A perfect and godlike human being is he who is empty of every self-veneration and I-ness.  Such a human being shall be a place where transcendental qualities and divine characteristics shall manifest themselves...

The degree of closeness to the Lord is determined by one's degree of selfishness and self-conceit.  The lesser his I-ness, the closer to God he will be; and the bigger his I-ness, the farther from God and the closer to Satan he will be...

Divine teachers require us, only, to renounce to our evil egotism.  In return, the Lord promises the true Paradise and the great joy and immense pleasure in this world and in the worlds to come.

Let us remember once more that self-veneration and selfishness are the main causes of getting disconnected with the source of intellect and creativity and to become isolated and weak in one's life.  Self-conceit is the cause of every failure, error and deviation of man...
