Submitted to Him
Q: Is it right to be totally submitted to ones master?
A: Follow, only and only, the Exalted Lord, the Living-Present God. Be submitted to the truth. Truth is explicit and clear while falsehood is dark and confused.
Do not worship any individual, any prophet nor any saint, for no one deserves to be worshipped but the Unique Lord who is not born and does not give birth. Do not be submitted to any one but to Him; and consider divine teachers only as means and channels of the Lord. Surrender to and obey the flow that streams through godly men but do not surrender to their individualities - even though their individuality has disappeared into divine nature and they have no individuality of their own...
To be submitted to a man's individuality would be another aspect of worshipping one's ego and Satan. This would be a form of blasphemy and idolatry.
To surrender to the person of a teacher is deviation; we have to submit to his teachings and be open to them. In other words, we should esteem his person because of the flow he carries and not to value the greatness of his teachings in terms of his person.
In the first case we are worshipping the Lord, while in the second case we are worshipping man or our egos.
