Characteristics of a Divine Master

Q:  It happens that sometimes there are persons who pretend to be a prophet, a messenger or even to be the Lord Himself.  What do you think about their claim? 

A:  Many false prophets and delusive pretenders have come and gone and will also come, especially in this era.

Q:  If ever we meet such pretentious hallucinating people, how can we find out about the truth of their claims?  In other words, what are the signs of true divine teachers?

A:  He who perceives the presence of the Exalted One is an exalted being and his moves are exalted as well.  Watch him for few moments and examine his acts, vision, thought, method, move, intellect, authority, will, presence, messages and tendencies.  If you find them sublime he is certainly an exalted person, a godly man and in union with the Lord. 

Remember godly men are far from being ego-centric and selfish.  They are in love and they carry signs of loving the Creator and His creatures.

Godly men move according to the Word of God and divine law and they never go against it.  Godly men live in connection with God and teach how to connect with Him in every possible way.

Godly men act in the same direction and in harmony with the Spirit of God; they strive continuously to rescue and guide human beings and work for the revelation of the truth.

They are the rulers of their ego and are at the control of their mind and inclinations- thoughts and feelings.

The true masters are movers towards the truth and leaders towards the Unbound Being and these are their continuous tasks.

Divine masters have the authority to explain and comment the word of God according to actual circumstances - time and place. 

A divine teacher carries the divine presence and spreads the flow of the truth.  One could clearly experience and feel the Lord's Presence.

They are alive; their move, teachings and words are alive and flowing as well. They are not dry and dead.

Godly men are wrapped in mysteries and have joined the unknowable.  That is why even their close ones are not able to grasp their identity or to know them.  They are much amazing and quite strange. 

A divine master is he who eliminates inner darkness; his teachings are light and make one see and reduce from one's darkness of mind.  He is the carrier of awakening and light.
