Sense of Responsibility
In case we can truly assume a responsibility it is indispensable not to delay for this is a rare opportunity. Nonetheless, we should be cautious not to accept a responsibility that we cannot carry out, otherwise we are going to fall into a lower rank and get ourselves into a position of distrust and irresponsibility.
According to divine teachings, if we wish to reach union with God and witness the manifestation of the truth within our being we have first to assume and execute our divine responsibility.
Divine responsibility is adapted to each person's conditions, yet it is of a similar nature in everyone. A divine responsibility consists of a series of divine duties and each duty is made of a series of obligations and each obligation includes a series of moves.
He who executes his divine duties has indeed chosen the most ideal and the best way to serve the Lord and receive guidance; for the principal divine move consists of fulfilling one's divine duties.
But how can we find out about and assume our divine responsibility and mission?
This is in fact an enigma in everyone's life which has to be solved. It is also called Gods scheme or cosmic plan.
In general, by performing simple and common moves a person begins gradually his divine obligations and gradually - [and rarely suddenly] - gets informed about his duties and he finally learns about his divine mission and responsibility. If we succeed in doing our obligations, we shall get informed about our divine duty and by accomplishing one duty we shall learn about the next. This procedure continues until the enigma of our divine responsibility unravels itself and we find out about our ultimate mission.
Now, this procedure could also get reversed. That is to say if we neglect or fail in our duty, we shall degrade to a lower level of obligations and with any further lack of success we shall still descend lower. In case one fails to accomplish his divine moves, the flow of divine guidance is going to be cut off and that person steps into satanic moves - into negative and destructive energy...
To receive and accomplish our inner and cosmic duties, we necessarily have to succeed first in carrying out our outer and earthly duties. Once these latter get accomplished, we automatically enter the field of our inner duties...
As we progress along the path of divine guidance, we get gradually initiated into our obligations, duties, mission and ultimately our divine responsibility through direct or indirect suggestions of the Spirit of the Lord. That is how we can reach union with God.
