True and False Trends
Every true and spiritual trend in the world is under the guidance and control of the Spirit of God. False trends wrapped in a divine appearance do not belong to that sphere and are as misleading as fatal.
Gods elite through the whole world, whether they know it or not, are chosen by the Spirit of the Lord. However, absurd pretensions and self-centeredness are two serious threats compromising servants of the Lord.
There are also some fool and ignorant individuals who after a short acquaintance with the divine trend and a brief introduction to divine teachings lay claim on them and use them to satisfy their egoistic and ambitious purposes. Yet the divine will shall soon get them caught in their own dreadful-conceited demeanor and they shall perish.
[Let's not forget that] the divine elite and mediums or channels of divine guidance have specific signs. Some schools have chosen personal and individual methods to reach the truth and to know oneself and God. Yet their failure in fostering a great and eminent personality is the strongest proof of the failure of their methods and clear evidence that selfishness and self-development can never bring true guidance.
